Undergraduate Resources
Celestial events provide a rich opportunity to engage students in space science. The 2017 solar eclipse lends itself to studies of lunar and solar science as well as celestial mechanics and sun-Earth-moon dynamics.
Many NASA and other resources can be used to assist undergraduate professors in teaching astronomy 101 lectures and lab courses around the eclipse.
