X Marks the Spot
Although the track of one total solar eclipse offers an exciting opportunity for viewing, on August 21, 2017 and April 8, 2024, two separate paths of totality will have crossed each other near Carbondale, Illinois. This is not the first time this has happened. In this project, you will use eclipse track data to identify the locations of all crossing points over North America.
